How long does the battery last?
The Menu if left opened will last 10-12 hours before the battery needs to be recharged. The menu turns off when closed to help conserve battery life. So in most operations the menu will only need to be charged once or twice a week depending on the usage.
Is there a warranty?
Menu Designs offers a sixty (60) day warranty and will cover all manufacturer defects. Anything after the 60 days will need to be reviewed by our Quality Control Department to determine the issue. For any questions concerning the warranty please call 800-889-6368.
What happens if I spill water on the menus?
Like all electronics, water and electronics don't play well together. However, the only real issue is if the charging port gets wet. If a customer is to spill on the LED panels they are fully encased and protected.
What type of paper should I use for the insert?
We recommend using a translucent paper, vellum or backlit film. We sell the paper in packs of 100. Click here to order the paper!
Can I customize the Cover Material?
Yes, Menu Designs is a custom manufacturer of menu covers and has hundreds of different materials to choose from. The standard material is a Black Imitation leather but ask your Sales Rep or customer Service Rep for more details on what is available.
Do you offer a LED Menu that can hold 4 menu inserts?
No. Currently we only offer the LED Menus in a Two Panel and a Single Panel Design. Check back periodically as we are looking into the possibility.
